Lock Schedule
The locks can handle a boat 60 feet long with
a 17 foot beam. Operation schedule of the Cheboygan River Lock
during the 2008 boating season will be as follows:
April 15-30 Call the Cheboygan
Field Office (231) 627-9011 to make
appointment.
May 1-21 8:30 a.m. to 9:30
a.m. and/or 3:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. (Mon-Fri)
9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (Sat & Sun)
May 22, 23, 24, 25 9:00 a.m.
to 9:00 p.m. (Memorial Day Weekend)
May 26 - June 14
9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
June 15 - July 31 8:00 a.m.
to 10:00 p.m.
Aug 1- Sept. 7 8:00 a.m. to
9:00 p.m.
Sep 8 - 14 9:00 a.m. to 5:00
p.m.
Sep 15 - Oct. 20 8:30 a.m.
to 9:30 a.m.
and/or 3:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. (Mon-Fri)
9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (Sat & Sun)
The Cheboygan Lock will close for the season at 4:30 p.m. on
October 20th.

The Crooked River Lock closes for the season at 5:00 p.m. on
October 12th.
